At Kinomega, everything is done with intention, including the naming of our company. Kinomega comes from the Greek kino meaning motion, also the German word for cinema. ‘-Mega’ comes from the Greek megas meaning great, important, and mighty. In other words, Kinomega is cinematic might. Last but not least, ‘-omega’ refers to the last letter of the Greek alphabet and is used figuratively for the last or final of anything. We believe we are the forerunners of cinematic authenticity and a poetic tradition going back to the days of Aristotle.
